How do I use it?

On cold days place the blanket between the parent and baby, maybe during feeding. This warms the blanket to body temperature and can then be used to cover the baby whilst sleeping.

If you require a cooled blanket, place the blanket in a plastic bag and place in the freezer until the blanket has cooled.

How do I wash it?

The product can be washed with any standard automatic, normal approved washing powder. The inner blanket will need to be washed by hand, ideally a cold wash.

How do I dry it?

For drying of the inner blackets it is best to wring it slightly and then hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.

What is the blanket made of?

The outer blanket is made of white natural cotton, with the Sleepyhead motif in the bottom right hand corner. The outer blanket is machine washable, suggest cold wash only. The inner blanket can only be accessed through a narrow slit in the outer blanket that is secured via velcro, therefore making sure the baby is not chewing directly onto the inner blanket, or able to pull out the inner blanket.

The inner blanket has an even distribution of small pockets containing very small inert weights that are non toxic, non smelling and contain no seeds,

Is it safe?

The Inner and outer blanket has been manufactured to meet the CE mark.

The blanket has been designed by a Nursery Nurse of eighteen years and tested and advised by Sleep Specialists and Midwives.

The blankets weights are non toxic, non smelling and contains no seeds, as with all blankets make sure that the baby's breathing is not impeeded. Babies under four months should be monitored regularly and babies which are premature should not use this blanket until they are a healthy weight for a newborn baby. It is advised that babies with breathing difficulties should be monitored regularly when using this product.
